I guess I'm not part of my family. I didn't get an official invite at Thanksgiving and I just found out that my dad didn't include me in the invite to Christmas. I'm so fucking tired.

The number one reason I feel hope right now is Republicans are starting to push back. Trump has been in office less than a year and people on the right are starting to say "well, actually, this is terrible."

She spent 5 years in Congress attacking the left-and never feared for her life or safety to any level that would make her resign. She spent 5 weeks mildly critiquing the MAGA right and the backlash was so severe she is resigning. 5 years of antagonizing the left resulted in no action. 5 weeks of criticizing the right resulted in resignation. That says it all.

I saw a 65" TV at my grocery store today (it has a small electronic section). It costs less than 2 weeks of groceries for 2 people. I don't know how to function in this reality.

We get Wendy's biggie bags most of the time we get fast food because feeding both of us with that is cheaper than we can get with almost any other fast food option. Sometimes I want to get a spicy chicken sandwich, but I can't bring myself to buy a normal priced meal. 😮‍💨

There's some things that I buy in person for this exact reason, but we mostly do orders now. I had to put my gf in charge of the order because the panic when the order is processed is way less than the panic of actually tallying up how much everything is going to cost as I put it in the cart. 🙃

I've been a massage therapist for 15 years. 5 years ago I got a degree in biomedical engineering. Last night I taught medical terminology to a bunch of students at the massage school. No matter how much I learn about the human body, I'm always amazed at the weird shit it does. Bodies are wild.
