OPEN 10am-9pm for August! Oh yeah, we're ready for the festival, where the population triples with wall-to-wall chainsaw-juggling unicyclists. We're just that wee bit off the beaten track and still a lovely calm environment to escape some of the beautiful mayhem going on outside - come say hi!

NEW BOOKMARKS! Our bookmarks were due a zhuzh, and who else would we commission but the supremely talented @joannakrobson who did our original silhouette bookmarks back in 2017! Stop on by if you want to pick one up - much to the disbelief of various customers so far today they are still FREE.

SCIFI/FANTASY/HORROR HAS EXPLODED! Right through into where our infamous MURDER section used to be. Don't worry, MURDER fans, the section is now lurking round the corner next to HOT & BOTHERED which has just had a GLOW up. TRAVEL, POLITICS, HISTORY, BOOKS, WORDS & LETTERS are now housed at the back.

We're hyper-excited for the launch of Nazaret Ranea's debut collection "Nettles" at 730pm on 28/7/25. Joining her are Gabrielle Tse, Hermione Byron, and Olivia Calderon - this event looks like it's going to fill up pretty quickly so do jump on our Eventbrite to reserve yourself a spot!

July & August workshops are now LIVE on the website! We restart on the the 20th when we've got risgraph zine-making @ 2pm. Then we'll do them most Sundays at 2pm, and most Tuesdays at 6pm. Jump on the website ASAP to snag your preffered dates. Badge-making and monotyping sessions also available!

We've had a few more Kaweco fountain pens arrive in stock, and we're expecting a few more but we're wondering what colours to order? What colour of fountain pen would you want - and what colour ink would you put in it?

WE ARE TABLING AT GLASGOW ZINE FEST! We're thrilled to be back at the GZF next month with a table featuring tonnes of zines and a triceratops. We always bring the triceratops. The Glasgow Zine Fest (@glasgowzinefest) is the BIGGEST Zine Fest in Scotland - be there or be rectangulaire.

I've finished producing our colour interaction charts! Now gang, this job was a pain in the ARSE! Trying to get nine different colour layers to register across an A3 sheet with all the idiosyncrasies of riso is not easy, but I hope you agree these charts look ace! Available in store and online...
