Dear Senator Chris Murphy, You can not expect your Republican colleagues to do the right thing and save Democracy because they are held captive by their Republican base, who are held captive by 24/7 disinformation and lies that have been weaponized to conquer our government as a hostile takeover by the corporations that own the Republican Party, its media like Fox News, and funded Trump's campaign. This also includes funding from corporations (which are run like dictatorships) and foreign dictators.

It occurs to me that when one quote posts someone's post to criticize it, that's an attack. Its not constructive criticism. It's public shaming. It might feel good, putting someone down might make you feel superior. But replying directly to them or making a post on your own feed is more productive.
