The business of 'mattering' depends on who we matter to, so there can be no universal truths with subjectivity.
So if we decide something matters we need to work out what to do about it. I count myself in this number, and we're not doing very well here.

When UK nationals are killed either our armed forces or our civilians through retaliatory terrorism, I will hold Starmer and this screwed up government responsible.

Seems this breed of politician is now all but extinct. Passionate, with a moral compass and, vitally, a real talent for clearly expressing their ideas. No performing to score points like the current batch. Just there with a purpose.

It's imminent. Have had to repeat all the forms and blood pressure checks again since my GP's systemic failure held the process up by 3 months and then there was the ECG, but there has been a flurry of notes from Psychiatry UK over the past week. This time next week life may improve forever! 🤞🤞🤞

Feeling triumphant that I, as a person with ADHD, remembered to pay my Tyne Tunnel toll without getting a £60 fine.
The Post-It on the dashboard that I keep in the glove compartment for this very purpose works!
Still, £5 for two journeys though! Eye-watering!

Well we finally made it. 🌞 I think this may be my favourite time of the year. Even the quality of the daylight improves as the sun rises higher in the sky. All the good stuff to come starting with spring equinox, and the clocks going forward.

I thought both of these things too, but I also ate Ready Brek - despite loathing the skin on the hot milk Mum served it with - because I thought I would get a magic orange glow.

So very relieved, but I hope this result doesn't breed complacency. Looks like Spencer fought a great campaign. She's relatable, sensible, likeable and a good orator. We need more like her.

Pretty sure I've still got the 1990 one somewhere. I owe a chunk of my sense of humour to Smash Hits.

I see deer when I'm out there and see the swallows/martins gathering in autumn. The changing seasons. The sun on your face, the wind in the trees, the fresh air and sound of the birds. It's magical and when I'm disconnected from everything else, I somehow feel rooted and calm when I return.

Let's just fuck it all Owen.
It's clear from previous conversations that you already heartily disapprove of housing estates just like mine and lifestyle that involves driving like mine. In fact all the things that give people like me joy and comfort.
The world is fucked anyway. Why bother?

Look, I perfectly understand that solar power is better than a dead planet & that the panels need to go somewhere, but why is that somewhere one of the key places that make my current life remotely worth living?
Apparently this beautiful walk around where I live is on the verge of being destroyed.

I think my favourite Duncan is DIY Duncan.
I will always cherish the minimal exchange we had about caulking in The Bad Place.

Jessie Ware doing an absolutely cracking job of performing The Way We Were there. Lovely tribute to Robert Redford. Quite emotional now. 💔

The Legend Of Zelda - MEDLEY - Piano and Violin cover
Sigh, if I could just plug the dog and I into OOT and dwell there forever. ♥️♥️♥️
I adore the music. Can play Song of Storms on the piano.
Always loved this medley.

It's more about whether my insurer manages the repair work and claims back from the other driver's insurance, or whether I just notify my insurer about the accident but let the other driver's insurance manage the repairs.

I know I need to notify my insurer about the crash.
It is more whether I also let my insurer manage the claim, arrange the repair and then let them claim back from the other driver, or have the other driver's insurance do all of that.

Luckily it wasn't.Also I haven't signed anything yet. Seems to be a common thing according to Reddit- accident management companies doing enough of a scam to make people believe we are talking to our insurance company, but not quite enough to get prosecuted for it.

Yes, the motorist wasn't the scammer. It was me Googling for Admiral's number at the roadside whilst being a shaky mess at and taking the first number I found without even looking at the branding of the page or the web page address. Ugh! I need to put these details in the glove compartment!

Totally suss!
Luckily I haven't signed or returned anything to AX. I wondered why they wanted to keep me on the line. I'm going to call Admiral in the morning as it looks as though I haven't told them yet which I need to do. Sigh! Again- thanks for this.

Claim Department
I Googled 'Admiral report accident' and this page came up.
As I was pretty shaken up at the side of the road I wasn't as savvy as I normally am. Thought it was weird to be on the phone for so long.
Thanks for prompting me to look into it! Glad I posted now.

I was about to tell you that I'd been passed on via Admiral to various companies but when I looked it up I think I may have fallen victim to a company posing as Admiral who passed me to AX Accident Management on a 1hr 17mins phone call.

Yeah I was pleased not to have whiplash. When you drive a lot you know your turn is coming at some point and I often pass mangled wreckages on the A1 and think 'there but for the grace of God go I!' Glad it was only a bash this time.

That all sounds very amicable. Glad someone took pics etc for you. My bumper and boot hatch are completely caved in though and my tow bar might be affected,so it's a bit more of an expensive job so will need to go via someone's insurance. Cool that you got it sorted.

Thanks for the share Jason. You may well be right, but luckily in this case there was no dispute - it was totally their fault and they told that to me and to their insurer. I needed to inform my insurer anyway, but now the two different insurer-appointed companies are duking it out for my business.
