Improve your health by darkening your bedroom - skip the night light, use black-out curtains, leave your devices outside the bedroom (or at least cover them up). Can't get it truly dark? Try a sleep mask. Good sleep is good medicine! 😴

Mushrooms are so good for us! Instead of waiting till you choose your pizza toppings try incorporating different varieties into your menu a few times a week. And - for a fun family project - did you know you can order mushroom kits and grow a crop at home? There are many Canadian vendors!

Perhaps surprisingly, the best way to clean a cut is soap and water. The old standards (peroxide and alcohol) have been shown to kill both germs and healthy cells needed for healing. Better options: after washing, try petroleum jelly or an antibiotic cream and a bandage to keep it clean and dry.
