Yeah, when I was just starting as a freelance editor, someone told me "Readers are on FB; writers are on Twitter all day" & that was correct. I made friends, found jobs, etc. Also just straight-up had fun! I miss that.

I'll one-up you: I *am* a copy editor and typos are going to exist on my social media too! 😂

I am compartmentalizing today by focusing on the manuscript I'm editing, instead of the maelstrom outside. Deep breaths, page by page, la la la I am safe and so are my loved ones.

(We're not but this is how I'm getting through it.)
