I'm madly in love with all these "I forced that stray cat to come inside because of the harsh winter" posts. We adopted this absolutely un-adoptable menace a while back. It took a bit of work—yes, there were bites and plenty of scratches—but now this madman sleeps on my pillow. 😭
My stepdad was the kind of man who knew it all and nobody could change his mind about anything. A few years ago he died of a UTI because he didn't want to take antibiotics. So yes, people just died from everything and you can still do it today if you're a dumbshit.

We met when I was the director’s assistant on cats and dogs. It was a messy experience, as so many film shoots are, but I’m so grateful it brought her into my life. She was an amazing woman.
The screenwriter was my best friend, Audrey Wells. She also directed and wrote the screenplay of Under the Tuscan Sun. She died of ovarian cancer way too early, and when I hear people recalling her work, it fills me with so much joy. I’m so glad this crossed my path this evening.
I thought I was the only person that despises that movie!
