Is there a newer city/colony builder game in the style and difficulty of Banished with tech trees etc that I am missing? Any reccommendations?

Just got the most 'bank error in your favour' feeling I've ever had. Ordered two extra large boxes of bin bags that would last me a few years. They sent me 2 shipping boxes of boxes of bin bags.

I have a decades worth of bin bags now...

Graphics give me 2015 HD texture pack vibes and everything is a little too smooth

I can tell you that whilst we did get our names reserved the Hermits all bought the game. Hytale has been waited for in the community for some time which is why a lot of people are playing it.

Tons of mobs is great, QOL changes are good but right now it's coasting on good wishes. I feel coming into early access on what feels like a demo to me is going to bite them later.

But they made 30-50 million already, so we should see rapid progress, if we don't, I'll have concerns.
