Have the same feeling to both of those brands; they make the thing as some knee jerk answer on a sales call, with no long term commitment or passion.

People have been saying this for a while; the executives approached gaming as if it was this untapped economic market of endless supply and revenue; and now that the chickens are coming home to roost, they're jumping off, and leaving the mess for the rest of us.

If you replace Jeff Bazos with an AI, you could save your company $250 Billion a year. (not an actual number, but you get the point)

Because Amazon is big enough to not give a shit about it's entire player base, and move on like normal.

Xbox could and was already competing with Steam.
They were about to have it all; and the Microsoft team made a poor, undefined decision and ruined ALL that progress.

Feels like Hood and her team aren't qualified to make these decisions; why did they in the first place.
