Finally starting to understand Designer. After years of being a Painter focused artist, this clicked recently. Still a long way to go to make this actually look good.

Probably like something like 20-40% left to get the look I want, but it's a good pausing point and throw into my scene.

I am in no ways a material artists. But after hearing so many go that route I finally gave in and began to try Designer one more time. Except this time a lot of it was making sense. I still have a looooooong way to go to feel confident about my materials. But I'm ready to add this to my skills.

I barely ever sculpt textures from zBrush. I usually make them in substance painter layers. But this was a lot of fun to learn. I'm hoping to do more with it later.
