A kobold is getting sent on a tour through a bird's birth canal and packed into an egg. The card is titled, "Birth Diagram: Good little prey can get encased in soft, warm yolk until it's time for them to be laid." It's 40 dollars, and for $5 the egg color/design can be customized.

I've actually had really good experiences with Subscribestar support - I've contacted them a few times and been able to talk to humans every single time, and it's done a lot to endear the site to me, and again, it's basically the only NSFW seller I feel safe on.

But also they are jank as hell.

I'm seeing some reports that this might be just a temporary issue and that it'll be resolved on the 3rd, but as tactfully as I can put this for one of the only platforms available I can sell NSFW on - I don't actually trust Subscribestar not to accidentally leave the info deleted X3

So if you can, check your subscription list on Subscribestar and your saved payment info to see whether you're still active. I know from experience that Subscribestar isn't always great about notifying about this stuff - I've had supporters accidentally go multiple months without realizing.

My external benefits site includes a grace period where you'll still have access even if a payment doesn't go through, but I've been told it is possible to lose slots on Subscribestar proper because a subscription lapses. This is maybe more relevant with artists like me who have limited tiers.

I've been seeing multiple reports online (including from some of my own subscribers) that Subscribestar has been deleting some payment information for accounts, interfering with supporter benefits/payments.

Again, this is something I'm still confirming, but I want to give a heads up.

I'm still confirming what's going on and why, but if you use Subscribestar it may be worth checking your payment info and confirming that your auto-subscriptions are still active.

Social media is an ecosystem; every place where we share infographics and artwork is like a body with an immune system, and every time you share stuff without a source, you are weakening the immune system, making it easier for AI slop to slip into the margins and thrive.

When we share information or artwork without sourcing the artist, we are making the job of AI slop peddlers easier. Don't make their job easier! <3

Source things that you post online, and when you see something without a source, be suspicious and look more closely at it!

This is why, repeat it with me: we source art when we share art. We source the information behind infographics so that we can confirm they're not bullshit. When we draw things, we sign our handles on them - even doodles.

Why? Because among other benefits, it's the best defense against AI slop.

This is inaccurate AI slop. I realize not everypony might be able to tell generated just from the graphical style or inconsistencies or visual errors/quirks.

The big thing that you should notice is the lack of a source. Look for the artist, look for the source, and you'll catch AI.

It's not that it grosses me out or that I'm embarrassed to be associated with it - I do have aversions around bodily fluids, but I have those aversions in lots of different places including with things like saliva.

I just want to make sure I'd do a good job with it.

And so part of me has to assume that subjects where I don't have that level of nuance, I'm also gonna be missing a bunch of stuff that makes it special, and that does kind of frighten me a little bit.

So I think about how bad I would be at like.. drawing certain kinds of comfort vore or endo stuff if I was not also occasionally somepony who lost sleep being bothered about things and who like.. had that sense of wanting powerful things to be Good. I would be terrible at it.

And like kink can be so incredibly varied. Like if I go into a vore piece that's endo or fatal, there are very different emotions at play there, and like.. it's not just about whether the critter dies, the entire tone is different and every nuance is being used for different reasons.

That makes total sense. When you understand a kink, that opens up the ability to weave that into every single part of a drawing - you know that an expression is wrong or that a certain pose will be hot because it's consistent with the overall tone.

So those are just the things I'm thinking about, and it's why I kind of freeze up when I'm asked about whether or not I'll draw diapers because.. I kind of don't know. I keep flip-flopping back and forth on it because of those concerns.

And it's one thing to say, "okay, there's an aspect of this I can't currently draw." It's another thing if the aspect of it I'm avoiding is the thing critters like about the kink. If my aversion means I can't explore the space, that's a problem - it means my artistic take on it will be very shallow.

My worry too is that I might find ways to appreciate it that just don't really line up well with what commissioners want. I'm already finding that as I do more research into it, the type of diaper stuff that I think looks coziest is also like.. not diapers being *used*.

And so I'm cautious about opening up availability for that kind of art without making sure first that the way that I draw it wouldn't just be mechanical.

It's something I'm thinking about, I'm just nervous I wouldn't do it well. I don't like drawing a piece and not knowing if it hits or not.

And so this makes me really nervous with diaper art, because technically it would be fine, I'd look at a few refs, it would just be a thing a character is wearing. There's no *problem* there, but I worry if somepony comes to me asking for diaper art that I won't deeply understand what they want.

Part of what makes a commission special is the feeling that an artist *understands you* - the feeling that an artist can tap into your emotions maybe even in ways you hadn't considered.

You want to feel like an artist is making an idea that is difficult for you to explain concrete and real.

I think a big part of what I offer as a commission artist is consultation and a really serious effort to understand my clients' kinks on a really deep level. I spend a lot of time thinking about nuances in kink, and about what a client is connecting to whether SFW or NSFW.
