73. The Alarm - Declaration

Absolutely stellar album - rock anthem after rock anthem. Starts great and goes straight into four incredible songs. To me, better than anything U2 ever did, a few years later. Sorry to see lead singer Mike Peters recently passed. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

74. Warren Zevon - Warren Zevon

What a songwriter and what a voice. ‘Desperados Under The Eaves’ is an all time album closer. The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is a stupid concept at this point yet I’m still angry he’s not in.

I think of both of these guys as near death given how long it’s been since their peaks and I’m not much younger than them 😢

Uptempo pop, great lead singer, and fun from the very first song to the very last moment. Brilliant album.

76. MGMT - Little Dark Age

After a great debut and a solid but different second album, MGMT’s third record sucked. I got this one not expecting much and I love it and have it on regular rotation.

My daughter, age five, just now upon farting quietly: ‘I just tooted; it’s a silent McDeadly’ (she must have misheard someone say ‘silent but deadly’)

Great game by the Red Sox. Dicey finish but got the job done. Incredible start by Crochet.
