Can’t imagine how difficult this was to grapple with. You mention in the video taking emotion out of it to deal with on your own, but know that your heart was still showing and there are those of us out here that felt the sincerity and heartbreak behind having to do this. Bless you & yours Rodney

Not surprisingly Ark Nova was my most played game last year but a little surprising was how much Near and Far came back to table. Just goes to show how far a Ryan Laukat game can take you 👍 #boardgamesky

I have not, but interesting. Japanese flash brew is doing pour over onto ice (aka hot start, ice shocks & locks the aromas/crispness) where as Cold Brewing slowly dilutes the acidity/brightness and creates texture/richness. Combining these might make for an interesting experiment.

What is with Coffee Roasters choosing White for merch tshirts? It’s the worst colour for Baristas to wear at work… whom I would think make up at least a quarter of people getting them. Just seems like a swing and a miss

Absolutely! I also started at Sbux back in the day before I got in at specialty cafes. Good grinder and great coffee ethically sourced will get you far

Most of the time it’s an adjustment or a cleaning needed before busting the wallet. Even I, as a barista, will seek advice from other baristas and roaster friends before buying new gear. There is usually a fix plus less things for landfill right? 👍

Water temp also effects, try hotter for light roasts and heavy processes ((CM, extended fermented etc)) and cooler for darker/decafs. Ultimately sadly trial and error is only way to truly get best cup for you! And take notes, it helps to have as reference 👍☕️💕 Happy coffee brewing, hope that helps

Ppl will have differing opinions on this, best is subjective to how you yourself prefer your coffee to taste. That said good jumping off point is: Chemex medium coarse for more acidityflorals, origami/v60 style for sweeter cups at medium, Aeropress medium or medfine for more body/texture.
