I stand corrected, Grover was sleeping in the empty kitchen cabinet where he has a bed. He has come out and now insists we both lay in bed .

Simon is a weird, skittish cat but she lets me pet her belly.

It's 2am and I can't sleep so Simon and I are just vibin on the floor while Grover sleeps on the couch.

In hindsight this probably should have been a sign to the adults in my life that I had cPTSD already from other shit lol. Out here intellectualizing the experience of watching thousands of people die on live TV at age 11 like a pro.

That was all of course after the actual day. I never had much of an emotional reaction to it. I didn't know anyone who was hurt. I lived in the middle of nowhere. My family never flew and wasn't military. I knew pretty quick that I was at no personal risk, and I was 11 so that was all I cared about.

I do remember everyone hating Muslims, and supporting the war or staying very quiet (my town had a chunk of conscientious objectors due to religion). I remember everyone getting I ❤️ NY T-shirts and wearing flag pins. One time my dad shouted at a protestor from the car. Everyone seemed angry.

I remember my math teacher saying we were just going to do math like normal because the whole point of the attacks was to disrupt people's lives or something like that. I remember nothing else of note that day because she correctly chose to not put her panic and anxiety on a bunch of 11 year olds.

I was in 6th grade. My homeroom was the social studies teacher and he had the news on as usual, watching the news about the first tower. Then the second tower got hit while we watched.
1st and 2nd period were a mess. Then my math teacher just made us do math and it was a normal ish day again.

He has cat stairs for the couch and bed but insists on jumping onto the bed sometimes anyway 🙄😒

Specifically it's a monoclonal antibody designed to reduce pain. My other cats, Simon and Kitteh, saw no real difference in their movement, but I know that Grover has osteoarthritis at the base of his tail/spine and it helps him a lot. He's much less stiff in the morning and makes his jumps better.

Also if you have an older cat, I highly recommend Solensia arthritis shots. It's a monthly biologic shot and it's about $90-100/m depending on cat size. Makes a BIG difference in how well Grover gets around.

Grover is the cat equivalent of an 85 year old and he's delightful.

Morrigan is basically Arden if Arden had given in to nihilism so they don't get along great. Also as an elf and as someone romancing Solas, she was unimpressed by Morrigan's shit at the Temple of Mythal. She understands Morrigan more after Arden meets Mythal with her.

Cassandra is steadfast and loyal without being overly rigid, which is something Arden admires. She respects and loves Cullen for his dedication to overcoming red lyrium and to the Inquisition, though she worries he's too easily onboarded into cult-y places.

She honestly loves both Josephine and Vivienne for their ability to maneuver politically and socially in ways that are perfectly legal but extremely effective. She appreciates Leliana's information and skills, but is always concerned about power vacuums. She respects Cassandra a lot.

Arden likes to talk about violence, but her strong preference, morally and logistically, is diplomacy and minor blackmail. She likes to use the law and customs against people. Thus she gets on best with Josephine's approach. She disagrees with Cullen slightly more than Leliana.

Inquisitor Arden is fastidious about bathing/being clean (her and Dorian bond about this), but otherwise just braids her hair and calls it a day. She's very tall for an elf, though, so she'll wear heels and pull an LBJ when she's dealing with human nobles. Vivienne is so proud.

Also Romeo and Juliet was about a couple dumbass teenagers so I'm not sure how that's grown up lol
