And just to be clear, obviously depression is a very serious thing, but my brain will always find ways to belittle the stuff I struggle with. I don't think/feel that when it comes to other people

Before I went on anti depressants, the imposter syndrome I have re my autism went into hyperdrive ("what if I was *just* depressed this whole time?). Well, it's been a few weeks and my mood is generally better (yay) but I can safely say my autistic traits are very much doing their thing🤘

Had my first ever ECG this afternoon and didn't really know what to expect and I didn't feel adequately supported. As such, my autistic body got very anxious and my bpm was up at 111 - so my reading wasn't a true reflection of my heart rate. 🤘

So now I'm nervous I'll be penalised for their failure to make accommodations. The irony is that one of the stallholders was a local autism support organisation. I did have a brief chat with them and got a phone number to ring. I've given the jobcentre feedback on how overwhelmed I was.

However, yesterday I went to a career fair they hosted and it was a complete sensory nightmare, meaning I struggled to stay in the room at all, let alone have any meaningful conversations with anyone. I had to fill out paperwork confirming who I spoke to and if I signed up for anything.

I've not talked about it much online but I signed on with the job centre a few weeks ago for the first time. I was v nervous about how my autism wouldn't handled. On the whole, so far, it's been a positive experience...
