I want to go back to my RE phase I had briefly in 2019 where I was insane and read nothing but leonada every night

sitting on it longer I think the story was severely lacking-- which isn't saying much given the IP but still. They had some opportunity to give context to relationships or talk about other characters and didn't. Still better than RE3make and genuinely a fun game.

ymmv and I am XIV pilled and might be seeing things that are just common in the western fantasy genre but I was just so shocked by the similarities haha

granted I'm literally only 2 episodes in but calling their Gods (?) The Seven (like The Twelve), 'seven hells', the bit about the two moons where one exploded and dragons poured out. A handmaid also said something like the sun was in love with the moon which is a common trope but points to auri lore

also it is so freeing to be away from xiv and this fandom lmao
