@nickstapleton.tv Condolences to you and your family Nick. I have kept up to date with your dad’s health when you are on Morning Live. What great parents you have, I have spent many hours watching and learning from them, and the same now from yourself. I am so sorry πŸ’”

He’s unhinged. How he got to be where he is, is unbelievable. There again you could say the same about many of our politicians.

I used to take my granddaughter when she was little to feed the mandarin ducks. I’m sure the less pretty ones had an attitude towards them πŸ˜‚

Ooooo, Years and Years to be shown on Netflix this month. I watched it a couple of times when it first aired on BBC. One of the best dramas I have ever watched, scarily true to our real life now. How did the writer possibly know the future. Excellent watch!

Watched it all now. Gets to you doesn’t it. Marvellous writing and acting.

I have watched Corrie from the beginning. Always loved it but at the moment just not enjoying it as much.Focusing more on police and hospitals. Not as much down to earth humour now.Not looking forward to Debbie going(fabulous, funny actor),not keen yet on the new couple.Bring back old Corrie writing.

I only mentioned you last night to my daughter and SIL (fellow Town fan)telling them you are doing a stint of directing on Corrie. I love hearing snippets about the process.

It seems to have escalated since Covid. Things were far from perfect before, but things have gone downhill rapidly worldwide.I am lucky to have lived in the best times, again not perfect but nothing like this.I fear for future generations, what sort of life will they have, my poor great grandchildren

We could send Catherine Cawood after him. Then he would not have such a Happy Valley!

Can we go back at least 5 yrs. We thought things were bad then but blimey what a downward spiral we are on. Everyone wants our money, Associates pretending to be doctors, countries all over the world at odds. I’m slowly losing the will to live, but hey there will be assisted suicide….sorted!

Is it true that they are reducing episodes of Corrie and Emmerdale to a β€˜soap hour’ in the future? I hope not!

Was it something like going to add 45mins onto a journey and risk of ambulance and fire service not being able to get through. Don’t know the full story but sad none the less.

Lots of comments on fb as to why it has happened. Calderdale not coming to the rescue, but to be fair they are skint. People suggesting The Piece Hall takes it over. Didn’t know they didn’t accept cash payments, some rightly peeved at that. Maybe someone else will come to the rescue πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Sad to see that Square Chapel is closing. Everything is about money, a blow for the Arts and Halifax.

Ah, my Aunty and Uncle lived a long time in Nantwich. They used to run a PO many years ago and Uncle Jim had a butchers shop in Crewe when I was a child.
