This work was done in collaboration with an amazing cross-disciplinary team at Microsoft!

๐Ÿ”‘ We show that estimating offsets as users read/verify what they type can significantly enhance typing efficiency and perceived mental workload. Feedback from stakeholders of the ALS community (who are early adopters of the gaze typing technology) has also been very encouraging for us :)

๐Ÿ” Miscalibration of eye trackers is a significant barrier to their use and wider adoption. We propose a simple approach to automatically correct for calibration errors during gaze typing, i.e., typing by fixating your gaze on a visual keyboard.

Hello #CHI2025! ๐ŸŒธ

Excited for my first CHI LBW (albeit remotely)! I'll be sharing work on an eye-tracking prototype I built during my postdoc at MSR, which aims to improve an often frustrating gaze typing experience.

Looking forward to meeting others exploring the ML ร— HCI spaceโ€”letโ€™s connect!

The new foundation model from physical intelligence - pi-0.5 - works zero-shot in multiple homes. They tested at airbnbs around san fransisco. I also really love the robot design.

Let's go! Really psyched to have Barto and Sutton win the Turing award for Reinforcement Learning! Their work shaped my career in such profound ways.
