Julien Grant dropped pass was pretty glaring tonight, can't deny what a bad miss that was. For a team that is confident on WR's, we sure don't have capable recievers

+He defaults to run first trying not to err. Puts his unit in impossible positions. At 1-6 serious questions about the offensive strategy, and the OC. Fajardo 0-2, run Tre for the rest of the season.
Bonus thought, the defence played well.

Three More Thoughts
1. Every second half offensive series started with a run! Fajardo's 4th quarter INT came off second and 8+!
2. The GM doesn’t pay receivers! Maybe he should find some who can make a play! Julien-Grant isn’t one of them.
3. The OC doesn’t trust his unit to make plays +

Won't disagree. Coaching is still suspect after 7 games, headscratchers.

Punted on 3rd and 1 because the clowns on the o line can't block... but took a risk on a TD instead of kicking the field goal while knowing that the o line can't block. Elks have the worst coaching staff in the league. Shame on Hervey. 2024 team made significant strides under Jackson.

Also didn't hear which penalty caused that gaff.

3. Missed opportunities cost a win once again.
24-28 loss at Home, Elks are 1-6, season is officially in jeopardy.

@theelksherd.bsky.social five minutes to go run first down by ten. Have you noticed how many passes Fajardo has thrown from the pocket? Not many b/c there isn’t a pocket. He’s running for his life and every time he does he makes a play b/c the defence has to back up.

3 THOUGHTS:
1. Elks Offensive Line is Swiss cheese.
2. Defence actually did half decent tonight. Held their own for much of the game.
3. Penalties were horrendous tonight.
Team gave fight but the Riders defensive line clobbered Fajardo and the Elks. 21-18, 1-5 season.
