Today I'm reminded of a 1997 song and music video that was ahead of its time. In our modern age, its message rings true as ever. I find myself disenchanted with the web - the onset of "dead internet theory", echo chambers... putting on a false identity for likes... but this video brings me hope. 🦋

I'm focusing on small projects I can complete (hopefully) within a month before moving on. It still needs a few things before I consider it complete:
- Ability to add "spin" to the ball
- Left click + hold for power-up shot
- Improved enemy skills
- win/lose state, scoring, rounds
- visuals & fx

I took a short hiatus from social media, and during that time I began my journey into 3D game dev using the Godot engine. A lot of banging my head against the wall but I'm happy to present my first working prototype: A simple ping-pong game! #godot #gamedev #beginner
