What's at stake here is genuinely deeper than the particular issue of COVID vaccination mandates. Effective policymaking and governance, or for that matter social coexistence, can't survive the rule "you may commit professional fraud if you feel like it."

This doctor (allegedly):

- Destroyed $28,000 worth of vaccine doses

- Made about $100,000 by falsifying medical and public health records for around 2000 people

- Tricked children into thinking they were vaccinated by injecting saline

The implications of dismissing this case are enormous.

The limitation to children at high risk for severe COVID is particularly problematic for the youngest children eligible for vax where HALF of the ICU admittances were for those with NO underlying condition, per CDC data.

IDSA, along with AAP, APHA, ACP and others, has filed a lawsuit against HHS/Secretary Kennedy to stop unlawful changes to vaccine policy and defend public health.
It is telling that learned societies uniformly oppose the vaccine policies of the HHS secretary.
