I'm amazed by how I've managed to write 4 novels since 2021 (including rewriting a 109k draft into a 96k draft) while dealing with worsening chronic pain. Some days I wonder how I manage to get anything done. It doesn't seem like the pain will improve, but I'll keep writing.

I wish society wasn't so looks/appearance obsessed. I just want to write my novels and give back to my community as a nurse. I don't care to be judged for features and "flaws" that I cannot help. I don't care about being perfect or my body being tea. I just want to live as I am.

Agree. I also extend this sentiment towards traditional publishing. Taking risks is scary but surely there's excitement to be had not falling back into a comfort zone, but exploring new worlds instead.

Burned out from revising over 150 pages so far this month, so I caved in and might've done a little writing for my angel cannibalism fantasy horror. For fans of angel eaters, cannibalistic angels, dead gods, and a budding romance amongst the horrors of the world.

Busy focused on my own lane because it's the only one that matters. Can't be drifting into other's nonsense, can't be led astray by other's progress. I need to focus on me and me alone.

Y'all ain't ready for when I turn my angel cannibalism short story (to be published in the Monstrous Angels anthology) into a full length fantasy horror about the lengths humans will go to consume angelic flesh.

Tell me why my revision plan/outline consists of 87 questions for me to answer? (And yes, I read through my novel and asked myself various questions to deepen my understanding of my story. It's my first time revising like this and it's been interesting.)

Torn between writing a necromancer x dead man romantasy or an Elden Ring meets Evangelion inspired science fantasy featuring dead gods turned into mechas. 😩

Good morning from Jamaica.

Life's been rough lately but in less than a week I'll be in Jamaica. I haven't been there in 8 years. It's like a second home to me and I can't wait to return.

I'm going to Jamaica next week and I promised myself I'd relax during my time off, but I'm missing my science fantasy and would love to start the revision process now. I'm so torn. 😭
