I don't think I had a teaching assistant 30 years ago in engineering school that was not an international graduate student. We are dumbing down America right now.

I used to eat rice and beans at my Cuban mother in law's house and thought I'll never be able to make them this good, now I marvel each time I make rice as beans as good and sometimes even better! I say out loud, I can't believe I made this! It is like love on a plate!

This was very normal in my family too. My mom's cousins were my aunts and uncles and their kids were my cousins. My neighbors from my childhood were also aunts and uncles. I still call all those people those titles, they are in their 70s and 80s and I am in my 50s.

This gives me hope really that there are only a finite amount of a**holes willing to be brown shirts.

I titer my pets for the annual vaccines but I give them the lyme vaccine and leptosporisis every year and rabies every 3. It mortifies some dog owning friends that I do that. But then they tell me their dog has Lyme. And I say, mine doesn't. 🤷‍♀️

I'm a pretty bad sleeper anyway lately so I'm accustomed to being exhausted, but it's pretty brutal today. 😆

I prefer Advil for mine but I also really like these cooling patches. It seems to take the edge off when meds aren’t enough. Also drink water and enough caffeine if you are a regular caffeine drinker.
