Could but unlikely to. The jump in gas prices looks really extreme until you compare what happened in 2022, where the gas price got to four times its current level. It dos highlight how the UK wholesale energy market needs to change though. Renewables make up so much more of our generation now.

If we could target it so only those who revel in this awful state of affairs suffer the blast then yes. I’m still of the belief that 90% don’t see that many differences between us and just want to get on with life in peace. It’s the other 10% who insist on fucking it all up.
