With 25% tariffs on imports from Mexico on the way, I can see a sharp downtick in the number of disc-based games that get released physically in the US, as much of that production infrastructure is in Mexico.

As a job seeker myself, I've personally met Amir and benefited a lot from his resources, like going to GDC for free or networking with folks I otherwise wouldn't have ever met. And I'm not alone, there's 1000s he's helped. It's frankly an insult to reduce him to being "a Tencent biz dev guy."

With all due respect Nathan (you've done great work over the years), I think treating Moriarty's video of Amir as a valid critique is a big mistake here. Amir and his family are being harassed with threats and insults as a result of these conspiracy theories spreading on YT and elsewhere.
