This year is not going easy on me, but at least I can make comics about it.

I just want some media where nobody gets traumatized, but that seems like a BIG ask right now.

Also, I'll give the bass, bow, soft-side case, rosin, an exercise book, and two music theory books I inherited from my bass teacher. The whole kit served me well when I worked for an orchestra, played in a jazz band, and did my own compositions. Free to good home because music for all.

He's a German bass with a French bow and custom pickups. He does need new strings and a good polish, but the grain on the neck is beautiful and made it very easy to transfer my bass guitar skills to this instrument.

After nearly 20 years together, I'm letting go of my 1/4 scale upright bass. The size is relatively rare, and so I'm looking for someone who really needs it. If anyone in the Puget Sound area is interested or has a student who can't afford one, please DM me. #musicsky

Myself and another trans+ researcher are creating a zine* about cervical screening. It is with trans+ Autistic people in mind, as a tool for information and advocacy. We've got a page on how it could be experienced for Autistic people and trans+ people but I'm having trouble thinking about the overlap. What is specifically different for trans+ Autistic people in this circumstance? I ask this as a trans+ Autistic person who has had experienced of three of these screenings (I also just happen to have a head full of bees right now). Any help is appreciated. What a fabulous few days! Thanks again for putting this together.

TLDR: you don't get "special treatment" for being trans in high school. You usually find out which teachers are cool and get weird treatment from folks inside and outside your friend circle.

I was also "patient zero" at my school, and the only things that happened were
1. I got called "it" in the bathroom a lot
2. school admins tightened dress code because I wore men's and women's dress
3. my Latin teacher let me pick a new name to use in class.

5 years, but close enough.

Guess who's ABD! I've been thinking about this book for 7 years, and I can't wait to start writing.
