I am so close to being released from application hell…

And I don’t have to beat myself up about experiencing something that’s normal. It also helped me to remember that the most disordered symptoms in having DID comes from dissociation and trauma rather than, like, having people in your head.

Happy to hear you’ve been happier lately!! And yeah we’ve known a system who was misdiagnosed BPD when they were primarily struggling with DID. In a way, our accepting stance on plurals I think helped us a lot, because it went from a rare disorder to something that’s more normal.

good thread!! And obligatory disclaimer that I don’t have BPD but I’ve heard people talking about BPD systems before. I believe it’s mostly about extreme mood changes feeling like different people (and sometimes this is labeled as being a system or not, depending). Anyone is free to correct me lol

Slowly I've been becoming more open online about having Dissociative Identity Disorder. I drew this at a moment of feeling very isolated and incapable of fitting the shapes others expected of me. Back then I felt like it was something no one would ever understand.

i think it really depends on what you ultimately want to do with the writing. If it’s just for fun then I think you should just do whatever you want forever lol
