TODAY is… SATURDAY 28TH FEBRUARY 2026 It is the THIRD AND FINAL DAY of three dedicated to HMs. It is NOT Day 28 of picking season. 26th – 28th February are for Honourable Mentions (HMs) only. Please don’t keep posting for your main list. Please also ensure your five HMs are posted or sent to me before approximately 0800 UK time on Sunday 1st March. I really don’t want to be processing them alongside regulsr picking season, which re-starts eight hours earlier.

I have gone right through your 25 posts and can't find another 11.

So, seeing as you've told me twice I'm wrong but not been able to say why, I'm all ears.

For a full list of 50 you need to wait until late March - see rule 9.

This is why I was asking - if you're sure of 5 it's better to post them now as it acts as a prompt for others.

To be clear, "failing" the Poppy Clause means 17 out of 55, from 50 main and 5 HMs, i.e. > 30% (obviously it's 16/50 and 31/100).

One player did fail the Ice Spice Clause for the 2020s - it had no effect on qualifiers, but it can happen.

Quick reminder that your HMs count towards your NKC/PC "compliance".

I very much doubt anyone will fail NKC, but if you've blown two or three HMs on pre-1995 artists I'd be very careful.

I don't mind errors, even I've got it wrong (before we started).

But it's been publicised for a year, on a website since August, I change my name every time a new one starts... and if it isn't spotted and corrected that just looks rude, and it means I have to go looking.

It comes across as rather impolite, tbh.

Especially when the same people manage to do it days apart.

In spite of the existence of:

- my username
- daily posts
- an entire website

This hashtag has been used wrongly three times since the HMs started.
