Repro carts with fan translations are a thing of that could work for NES/Famicom.
Otherwise in being faithful to the OG versions on real hardware there is the PSX version of 1 and 2. Might also be wonderswan versions, but I don't know what those are like/might not be that feasible

It's Yamato and Tenn from Idolish7! They're in their outfits for the 2025 Anniversary, which includes Yamato as a puppeteer with a big black hood, and Tenn who is a bodyguard with long hair and an off-the-shoulders red jacket. Yamato is holding one of his puppets close to his face, and Tenn leans in to kiss the puppet while making contact with the puppeteer. In the next panel, Yamato scurries away, red-faced and surprised. Tenn chuckles and thinks to himself, "How red... I've never seen anything like it..."

Yesterday was such a mess. Double shift, not getting home until driving an hour and a half driving through weather that you need to be focusing on for the entire time. On top of all this I only got 6 hours of sleep because my body is too keyed to wake up to sunlight now. I'll try to stream tomorrow

Today is really something... 16+ hour workday ahoy.

Decided to do some fishing so I could buy some stuff next stream in Breath of Fire 3. Constantly reminded of how my enjoyment of fishing in BoF3 is probably why I enjoy fishing in Stardew Valley as much as I do.
