2022年1月11日，谢阳被捕，2月17日被以涉嫌 #煽颠罪 批捕；
2025年7月30日，不公开开庭，未宣判。

五个 #联合国特别程序 曾致函中国政府，对 #谢阳 的羁押条件、长期被 #任意羁押、 诉讼相关权利被剥夺表示关切，指出这些行为 #违反国际人权法， 要求中国政府作出回应，并采取措施停止侵权行为！

At her trial, human rights defender #ZhangZhan appeared very frail, was held by the arms into the court in Shanghai. She remained silent through the 4h trial. Her lawyer argued that she was not guilty as charged. The Chinese court sentenced her to 4yrs in jail despite abuse of due process rights.
