All of the MCU Spider-Man movies hinge on how the adults in Peter's life consistently fail him and blame him for their own screw ups, and I find a very interesting analogy in there for the way authority figures refuse responsibility for their own messes.

2 episodes in and Starfleet Academy is probably the best Star Trek has been in ages. It's putting optimism, racial and cultural diversity and anti-isolatiomism front and center, and it's wonderful.
No openly queer characters yet, though, which is a little disappointing.

I watched Wakanda Forever finally and... Yikes. The resolution of the story being that one minority group establishes dominance over another is not the way to go, Marvel. Beyond that the movie is just generally unfocused, and the action is genuinely boring.

I'm also gonna say, Agrias is very obviously gay. She has less than zero patience for mens' crap, dresses like a prince and is an expert swordswoman, and maintains a level of loyalty to the princess that definitely exceeds a normal knight's oath of duty.

I've been playing Final Fantasy Tactics Ivalice Chronicles in my spare time. It's a great remake and very faithful to the original, but it highlights how the boss fights were always the weak points of the game. Instead of those, I would have loved it there were sometimes 10 v 10 battles

Star Trek fans need to take off the nostalgia goggles and finally admit that the Picard series, all of it, was completely awful. Especially season 3, which was the worst, most pandering and regressive trash ever produced under Star Trek
