Thanks! I started crocheting about a decade ago. Lately I’ve been trying to branch out—I’m knitting a sock! But that takes more concentration, so I can’t work on it during hockey.

A crocheted blanket in progress, draped on a rocking chair with flowered cushions. The yarn for this blanket is striped in shades of green, peach, and cream. Currently it’s about 45 inches wide and 24 inches long.

As requested by @virginiam.bsky.social and @stelsadick.bsky.social, it’s a #crochet project post. Just started the second of three skeins on this blanket. I just love the colors on this yarn.

Watching the Victoire/Sceptres #PWHL game tonight, and doing some #crochet once i finish my salad. Should I post a picture of the current project during the intermission?

I am going to link to organizations that I know for sure are helping trans Kansans. This thread will develop slowly as I either know people or will vet them.

At this point we have not heard from anyone being helped via relocation resources. These exist, but I assume they are overwhelmed.

A partially knitted sock resting upright on circular knitting needles. The yarn is a variegated colorway of teals, cream, olive, and dark gold. The sock is (so far) about four inches long.

I started with the cuff because that’s what my daughter showed me. It’s cool that there are so many different ways of making socks, and once I get the hang of this way, I’m open to trying others.
