I am one of those people! Hill’s auction-sourced sterling and refurbished jewelry sales paid for me to take a metalworking class in April. All your purchases are helping queer people bring more beautiful wearable art into the world.
(And also, y’know,?pay rent and buy cat food.)
Thanks! I hope you’ve got something fun you’re working on, too.
04.03.2026 01:47 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Thanks! I started crocheting about a decade ago. Lately I’ve been trying to branch out—I’m knitting a sock! But that takes more concentration, so I can’t work on it during hockey.

As requested by @virginiam.bsky.social and @stelsadick.bsky.social, it’s a #crochet project post. Just started the second of three skeins on this blanket. I just love the colors on this yarn.

Seriously though if there’s a time-traveling unicorn who’d like to set things right, I’ll meet you by the star-watching rock.

I am going to link to organizations that I know for sure are helping trans Kansans. This thread will develop slowly as I either know people or will vet them.
At this point we have not heard from anyone being helped via relocation resources. These exist, but I assume they are overwhelmed.
Yeah, that was supposed to be the alt text. Genius, me. But I carry on, and my arch-nemesis the sock has not defeated me.
