My First Bike Ride of 2026 A desperately needed respite from an exceptionally bitchy winter.

It was 70º and sunny today. I needed this.

One of the most important features of a Brompton is not that it effortlessly folds up in seconds or that it is handmade.

Its the fact that when you buy one you're also buying a promise you'll be able to get replacement parts for a decade+.

That's smart money, well spent.

Ban right hand turns on red.
Pedestrian intervals.
Daylight intersections.
Lower residential speed limit.
Automate traffic enforcement.
Zero tolerance on distracted driving.
Use your data to retrofit key intersections.
Build bike lanes.

So glad to be back on my Brompton can’t believe six weeks has flown by already.

I’m so happy I was able to fit my Brompton Bicycle in the locker while I use the gym.

I’ve finally got my smile back. A lot of people just don’t understand what cycling does to a person.
