I almost had a friend drive us off a cliff going 160mph when I was sixteen. Trying to "bury the needle" on a road with a sharp bend at the end and cliffs on both sides. We screamed in happiness when we didn't die.

When we went to adopt a kitten six years ago it was BOGO so it cost the same to adopt one as it did two, and I still only planned to get one - until we found two sisters and couldn't take just one. Worth it at the time, and no issues over 6 years, but that's just these two particular siblings;)

I am writing a sci-fi/fantasy novella (?) at the moment, currently at 20K+ words. Any word count posts are referencing that project.

Also, I haven't slept since yesterday's nap. My focus is nonexistent.

I was going to write today but I have SO MUCH RESEARCH to do for this book. Sure, I could make it up as I go, and say "in my world..." but the lore is there, I just have to sift through it. I won't be lazy. But research maybe results in 1-2 lines, max of 50 words. Sigh. #WritingCommunity
