It was so unexpected that when I finally dared to write an intimate scene in the second chapter — it led to an even more intimate and almost symbolic action between the characters 😳

I googled what the word “bugai” actually means.
I always thought it was just an insult for a big, clumsy guy
(Larikon sometimes calls Berkan that).

Turns out one of its meanings is
UNCASTRATED BREEDING BULL 🐂

In the original «Harcyses» story, the dynamic between Lari and Berk is something like childhood friends who fell out and then met again after 10+ years. In the AU, their dynamic is purely rivals 😈
No idea why, but I really enjoy these kinds of back-and-forth swings:3 Just without crossing the line.
