Been weighing up Bruno or Mbeumo. Basically, they're both excellent so I'm going with my love for Bryan. After 9 games, he's second for NPxGI and is nailed with 86 minuted per start. He's just a great pick!

FPL accounts on X complaining about the costs of being a landlord. I don't often get into politics on here, but nothing will ever convince me that being a landlord is anything other than sucking blood from the disadvantaged.

Probably agree: and hopefully we get a clearer picture by then. I have to make a decision between Bruno and Mbeumo this week, and I think it's close. Mbeumo makes it easy to get Gakpo (from Gordon) later, so Bryan keeps my options option...

This is what I'm leaning towards: those seven fixtures before AFCON scream haul potential....

He's hit DC points in 4/8 starts, with a median of 11.5 a game. In any 10 game stretch I'm confident he hits it 4-6 times. But that's not enough for a 7th attacker, and you can get the same likely rate of return much cheaper if you want a bench mid.

Caicedo is a different issue. I got him as a potential long term hold and as a 7th/8th attacker for BB. He's scored a very respectable 19 points in 5 games. But I don't want to rely on low xG bangers, and his DCs have dried up. I should have predicted he is less likely to get them in 'easier' games.

But it's unlikely. For a 7.5m forward with those fixtures, you really need c.5 points per game for them to be worth it. Pedro would need 30 points in three games to hit that. And the fact I've transferred him out and not put him on the watchlist speaks volumes.

Pedro obviously an easy sell. I like to have a defined block of fixtures for any player, as it helps with decision fatigue and buyers' remorse. For Pedro, it was eight GWs and I'm shipping him off after five. There's a world he returns in the next three and that that 8-week block wasn't a disaster.

Sold Pedro last night to avoid the price drop; will use to the money to move Caicedo to to either Bruno or Mbeumo: if the former, I'll have zero itb (hence the early move) and can't do Gordon to Gakpo in GW12.....

Is there enough of a decision window to see if Palace will be cantering to the top of the Conference League table? Will them not having to leave London also make a difference? But I assume they’d fiercely resist wanting to play Arsenal away two days after playing City!

Yup, apart from Arsenal defence only three players scored any points. If you’d have any of VDV, Mbeumo and Rodon you were probably fine.

Still an amazing week! I was 700k GW rank before VDV and then in the 2 millions.

Crazy week. Not a single return from attackers, yet I’m currently on a GW rank of 700k (should go down considerably as I’ve got no one in the last game)

Can judge Gyokeres after today, but considering the number of chances Mateta gets I don’t feel the Arsenal man is likely to be worth the 1m+ cost over the medium term. Would allow VdV up to Munoz leaving you so well set up you may as well be smoking a cigar by a warm fire

I’d be tempted by the first two as they look like bigger upgrades, but as a Lacroix owner I probably see Munoz and Richards as slightly closer together (I’d prefer either of them to the one I have).

Yeah, he’s not someone I want to hold for much longer and I think a lot of us will use him as a cash cow

In that case, he’d also be out the door for me!
