Sometimes I don’t want to do the work. Fitness, ritual, mindful breathing… Sometimes dark clouds fill my head, but the work helps. I am strong and resilient. I’m compassionate and patient with others and myself.

Last year, I listened to the audio version of “The Book of Hope” by Goodall and Douglas Abrams. Listening to Jane herself discuss cultivating optimism was a balm to my spirit

I was going to post about welcoming October, but then I saw the news. I mean…the news has been depressing a lot these days, but I was especially sad to learn that my hero, Jane Goodall, passed away. She’s been an inspiration to me since I was very young.

I could definitely use a little luck! Happy Halloween season!

The trees are putting on a spectacular show in the ADK this weekend! My family enjoyed colorful high-peak views with a gondola ride up Little Whiteface (next to Whiteface Mountain) and then joined the Oktoberfest celebration below. Totally worth the drive! #Adirondacks #Autumn

So glad I felt better today so I could attend this fantastic women’s retreat organized by @lighthouse_in_theresa. Gentle yoga, qigong, trails, massage, poetry, and kayaking on the beautiful Millsite Lake. It was a healing day, and I’m so grateful that I was able to go with a friend. 💚

To my friends headed to CNY Pagan Pride Day or the Autumn Equinox celebration at Kripalu Yoga and Wellness Center of NNY, I hope you have a magical and safe time! Miss you all. 🫂

I’m feeling much better today. Thanks for the healing prayers! I’m very relieved because, a few months ago, I signed up for a women’s spuritual retreat at a nearby lake. Very excited to attend!

Holy shit!

My husband has been a sweetheart. He drove me there and back, of course, but also got me treats and made delicious mashed potatoes for dinner with my daughter. Feeling cozy and loved. 💚

Loved seeing all the positive chalk affirmations on the sidewalk around my doctors’ offices the last couple days. I had a small procedure. Nothing to worry about, but it has me a wee bit tired and sore.
