Today Primary 1 created their own drawing of the Nativity for the school show next week. It is going to be very hard to pick one for our programme ⭐️😇🫏

The only photo I took today is a convoy of buses as we left school for our trip to the cinema. I don't know who enjoyed it more myself or the children 🤣😁📽

Today primary one painted poppies on our memorial soldier template.

We used tablets and laminated numbers to practice our writing in maths.

Cubes and cards with dots on them. The children used the cubes to represent the number of dots on the card.

We used numicon to create a sum using numbers 1-5.

A very busy day for Primary 1 today!

We started the day with a school assembly and then we had our class photo taken. We painted poppies onto our soldier template for Rememberance Day.

We then had maths where we set up different stations for the children to continue their addition.

Some of our activities in Primary 1 as part of my first lesson.

It was great to see the children engaged and understanding how to read, write and solve some maths problems.

Bucket School this morning. It was really nice to see how you can incorporate areas of the curriculum into outdoor learning.

It's such a simple thing, a bucket, yet we can use it for so many things (including carrying your lunch back to campus 😀)

Would you believe me if I told you this was an old top? It is amazing the things we can make from recycled materials. It could be to simply fix the item or create something new.

From a top to a small pillow...what could you do?
