I believe I started following you on Facebook during the 2015/2016 timeframe, back when many of us had hope we could talk sense into people and stop this trainwreck from happening. A lot sure has changed since then.

๐ŸŒฑ The New England Aster is of those small shrubs that I tend to overlook, then Autumn arrives and I find myself wondering why I haven't planted them all around the gardens for Autumn interest. #bloomscrolling #garden #Zone8b

Just a thought, Peter Theil and Elon Musk were not born in America. Neither was George Zoley, the founder of GEO Group (the private prisons and detention centers that are making a huge profit off of immigrant imprisonment). These people came to America to achieve wealth and power.

A photo of Mount Rainier (recognized by Indigenous as Mount Tahoma) from a boat on the Puget Sound from the Main Basin. There is a cloud cap on Mount Rainier, which is an indicator of upcoming rain. There is a small hill in the foreground to the left of the mountain. The boat launch and ferry dock for Tacoma to Vashon Island is in the foreground in the center right of the image.

Kimmel is back in Seattle.

He should never have been pulled from the air in the first place, but glad to see Sinclair reverse course. Thank you to all who spoke out for free speech.

Starbucks is closing its iconic Capitol Hill Roastery, just minutes from its Seattle headquarters Starbucks announced it would close 1% of its corporate stores. Business Insider learned its flagship Reserve Roastery in Seattle is among them.

The iconic Roastery is on Capitol Hill, one of Seattle's LGBTQ hotspots. While others will be watching to see which union stores are being targeted, I will be watching to see if Starbucks is capitulating to the regime.

I watched a young person maintain a positive attitude despite changes by three CEOs while working at a non-union Starbucks. They resigned, while maintaining a positive attitude, shortly after the latest CEO took the position. It would be in Starbucks best interest to listen to their employees.

Three bridges are now damaged and closed in her district - all damaged during the past few months. We know that one bridge had exceeded its planned lifespan, and instead of replacing it, they're repairing it. I hope Congresswoman Shrier is trying to secure funding for infrastructure.

Enumclaw is in her district. The impact on that area has been significant as there is only one way in/out of Enumclaw now. It also impacts traffic driving to Mount Rainier National Park.

I grow organically, and don't use any chemicals to try and prevent rose diseases. It's a lot of work with the number of roses that I grow (approx 70) but the results are worth it.

Yes. I remove the leaves and clean up any fallen leaves beneath the rose bush. I leave rose hips on plants that grow them, and trim any faded flowers that die back.

Our weather in the Pacific Northwest is wet Autumn, Winter and early Spring, the perfect environment for black spot to take over.

A peachy-orange rose blossom in front of a white 2-rail fence. The leaves are medium green. Some of the leaves are beginning to show stress and black spot. I will defoliate them at the end of the season and the leaves will come back fresh and beautiful in early spring.

๐ŸŒฑ 'Lady of Shallot' making a showing again. She's my favorite rose, and she's still covered in blooms. The flowers are beginning to fade. Soon I will start the process of defoliating all of my roses to help prevent black spot through the rainy season. #blookscrolling #garden #Zone8b

How do they explain that autism was described in the 1930s and 1940s, but Tylenol wasn't released until 1955? Many research studies that have already demonstrated a genetic link and the rise in autism diagnoses are due to the fact that people weren't diagnosed in the past.

H.Res 519 was passed unanimously on June 25 on behalf of the Hortmans. The disturbing difference between H.Res 519 and H.Res 719 is that 519 simply honored the Hortmans lives, but 719 honored the legacy of Kirk. Honoring his legacy is what we, her constituents, need an explanation to understand.

Nearing the end of blooms on my 'Peace' roses for 2025. The center petals are yellow. As the rose opens up, the petals fade to cream with pink edges. The leaves of the 'Peace' rose are deep green. This particular rose is planted next to a cement walkway.
