Thank you Senator Murray for your willingness to call out un-American bigotry.

I signed up - still waiting for my invite.

Lol. Mine was my 9-year-old coming home from Vacation Bible School and pretend playing sending his toys to h-e-double hockey stick.

So, you're a partner with a venture capitalist firm. Noted. If Bluesky takes the direction of other social media networks, including embracing AI, I will be out.

I bought some with real roses inside the dice but ended up giving them to my daughter because I had a difficult time reading the numbers during play. As a DM I have too much happening, so I need easy-to-read dice. They were beautiful though.

I agree. While it would be difficult for states to mandate landowners to remove it, they certainly could find a way to encourage it to be removed through an incentive program.

I pull the seedlings regularly, too. We have many trees in the neighborhood that are covered in it. Unfortunately a ban in Washington doesn't guarantee home owners will remove it, but it does stop the sale of it at nurseries.

🌱 It makes sense that Washington banned English Ivy, Boston Ivy and others. Our beautiful trees in the neighborhoods and forests struggle after being covered in it.

I have attached more information about the ban: www.governing.com/resilience/w...

Two yellow daffodil blooms. They are growing inside soil, over a septic tank cover. A metal Christmas tree skirt acts as a mini raised bed.

A single story sage green house is in the background, along with an 8-foot metal raised bed. The raised bed gets the most heat during the summer, and is the bed where I plant heat-loving plants. Last year I grew peppers in this bed. I'll rotate another crop in this year, but haven't yet decided what I will plant there for this year.

🌱 We're beginning to see signs of Spring thanks to the creative placement of a miniature raised bed. I use metal Christmas tree skirts as miniature raised beds on top of the septic tank covers. Plants bloom early, likely due to the warmth generated by the septic tank. #bloomscrolling #garden #zone8b

Good grief. The words of a man who just started a war.

Your first sentence could have been "The President should not have initiated a large-scale attack on Iran." That would have clarified your position.

Thank you. I gotta say, I do wish our other Senator and my District's Rep would have made a clear and concise statement of opposition. I appreciate that you are willing to state what the others are too afraid to say.

"They owe the nation an ironclad justification for this act of war and a clear strategy to protect American lives and prevent a costly war, especially as Americans are struggling to get by in their everyday lives."

"If this Administration has conclusive intelligence truly demonstrating that Iran is within days of being able to produce a nuclear weapon, then they must prove that."

"However, the laws of this nation do not give the President the authority - without Congressional authorization - to send American servicemembers into another war that endangers countless lives. The Trump Administration must explain itself to the American people and Congress immediately."

"Iran's government is a brutal dictatorship that has violated human rights and is the most significant state sponsor of terrorism across the globe. The regime poses a grave threat to our allies in the region."

Is it really that difficult to post a readable version of your statement about this important moment in history for your constituents who rely on screen readers?

But once you get them started, if they go to seed, they will start like weeds and you can dig them up and transplant them where you want them. This could be the only time you need to start them yourself.

I just noticed that your post relies on audio to deliver your message. An animation should never rely on audio to make a point since animations don't have alt-text for the deaf to read. Doesn't work for hearing people who may have the sound off, either. Signed, a former animator.

Your photography is beautiful and I appreciate seeing the beauty when I check in with Bluesky. I have been limiting my use of all social media channels, including Bluesky. It might not be that your photography isn't resonating - maybe it's not being seen if others are taking breaks, too.

Our tax dollars paying for a flashy animation to celebrate Presidents Day in 2026 feels a bit off. It's even worse if AI was used to generate the animation. A simple text line would have sufficed.

🌱 It's a beautiful day to be working in the #garden. The #Hellebores (Lenten Roses) are in full bloom.

I live in the #PNW #Zone8 - Valentine's Day is my reminder to start hard pruning my roses. 5 rose plants pruned for the season, approx. 65 more to go.

Is there a boycott against Ray-Ban and Oakley? If not, that should be the first area of resistance.
