There's a lot of crap going on in the world. I get it. We need to be informed.

But.

If you keep giving attention to the negative voices out there, if you keep sharing images of the one person who is responsible for all the chaos that is unfolding, you give power to what you don't want.

This book has been in my home for years. I didn't buy it, the hubs did. I had no idea what the book was about, I just saw it sitting on his bookshelf.

It was on a recommended reading list for a painting class I'm taking, and I remembered I had it because the cover was burned into my memory.

January has been a month of deep connection.

I've been painting almost every day. When I've felt anxious or overwhelmed, painting has helped ground me tremendously.
