There's an argument for Samwise as the protagonist of LOTR if there is one. The boy carried Frodo and the Ring by proxy, all the way to Mount Doom and got back just in time to repopulate the Shire.

I usually buy adventure modules more to read than run. Legitimately, some of the best science fiction I've read recently has been in Mothership module flavor text. :P

Recent events in my Scifi game took a pretty drastic turn 👀

Hopping into this: if you're ok with AI slop on the cover of your book, it probably just sucks as a book too.

Not sure it's even possible to be detail oriented enough to write well but simultaneously just not notice how bad gen ai looks.

An ensemble of the player characters in my current tabletop game. From left to right we have: scifi bunny popeye, psychic orphan, ex cop, rich kids, bugs evangelion, and sentient sleaze. I made this by pasting 6 previous drawing next to each other because I am lazy.

Quite the colorful cast of characters in my new tabletop campaign, lol.

"Disco Slop" is, itself, a very Disco concept

Color is probably the least "real" part of vision, less so than geometry, value, etc. that also makes it the most personal, IMO. How a person experiences color is physically unique to them, so it's a really cool place to explore your own subjectivity. As you say, fuck around and find out! 😆
