Satellite image of another stupid overbuilt state intersection, next to the Glenmont Metro station on the southwest corner. The driver was turning left from the left turn lane of northbound Layhill Road to westbound Glenallan Avenue. The pedestrian was crossing Glenallan Avenue on the west side of the intersection (from the direction of the Metro station) from south to north.

On Thurs 2/19/26 6:42 pm
the driver (59/M) of a 2012 Toyota Camry
turning left from Layhill Rd/182 to Glenallan Ave next to Glenmont Metro
hit but didn't injure a pedestrian (25/M)
crossing properly in a marked crosswalk.
Police (MCP33760030) found the driver at fault.
