We did Sportsball today. Grant’s team is undefeated.

The accent wall is officially done. Bed is centered. Nightstands are centered. Carpet has been vacuumed a few days. Just need to clean the blinds for the three windows.

Invaded Grant’s room and his privacy while gaming. The ceiling paint brush was already wet and I need to complete a clean cut line.

I painted his nose at the end as a thank you.

I cut lines by hand. The builder painted the ceiling first & then the walls. So glad everything is true and square. 🤣

Raw. Reverse sear. Raw for about an hour at 170° and then pull. Crank to 500°. Sear each side around 3-4 minutes.

Squirrel is helping me paint the last accent wall. Still need to do cutline touch ups in the kid’s rooms but the 10 year old ceiling & trim paint dried up. Hope to match it close enough. 😬

When asked if they wanted to go to brunch, the kids opted for the chocolate chip banana bread. That’s a win!

I think I am done with Twitter. Met a lot of life long friends on that app. Given the events of this last week, it became too much.

I will likely reactivate my account to let tweeps know but I will hopefully have a better presence on this app.

I was goofing around w/ Grant at his basketball practice the night of June 4. Rolled my ankle & broke my fibula twice. Surgeon also did a hammer toe surgery that stopped my running career the fall of 2019. 10 screw, 2 plates & a rod.

Laid off July 1st. Cast scheduled to come off August 14.
