Day 2: Hollie Smith - Bathe in the River (2006)
Winner of 4 New zealand Music Awards in 2007 and she deserved every single one of them.
Heard her sing this live last night. She was magnificent.

It's like they forgot the The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to limit Iran's nuclear ambitions was signed in 2015.
Trump trashed that in his first presidential term.

Obama in his tan suit
Struck a deal to contain Iran's nuclear program forever.
Didn't go to war in Iran.
DID IT ALL IN A TAN SUIT.

A stage with a large tree on the right . A crowd of peopl on ghe grass in front. Sky is blue at tje end of a perfect summer day.
Gorgeous night in Hamilton Gardens for a Don McGlashan gig. He was great and a bit of magic with Hollie Smith joining in..

I can't help but put together Trump cancelling the Iran nuclear agreement out of petulance, his almost orgasmic response to the bombing of Venezuela (like a movie) & Stormy Daniels talking about his obsession with sharks eating things... and *waves arms* this.

With these prompts I plan to learn something πΆ every day π today it's SNL had a skit called 'More Cowbell', 'East Jesus Nowhere' sounds pretty good with a cowbell, Will Ferrell is not too bad playing a cowbell π

14-07-2015 we had dinner at Palais Coburg, Vienna with our visiting PolSci niece.
Chosen because the Iran nuclear deal negotiations were happening there. By chance, it was the day they were finalised.
We toasted the importance of diplomacy.
Israelis hated it, then Trump ended it because - Obama.

Day 28: A song youβll probably love forever
It's only fair that my kids have some input into this choice, given they've had to spend years listening to my tunes.
It's agreed this one will play at my wakeβ¦ π

They're intentionally destroying livelihoods and demonising groups of people for the hell of it though.
They know (they're not stupid, despite appearances) their actions don't improve the lives of people who are economically and/or socially vulnerable.

A new space race could turn our atmosphere into a βcrematorium for satellitesβ
Planned βmegaconstellationsβ of satellites could cause unforeseen harm to the ozone layer and climate systems. Global regulation is needed before itβs too late.
We have nothing to stop potential atmospheric destruction right now. No international or scientific body has clout.
"When we look up at the night sky and see a satellite glide past, we might not consider ..."
Its a human folly to FAFO rather than conscientiously consider what it all means first.
