Puppies! Only a week old today

A friend has a friend who gives her bread that they test/make for work and they have so much of it that they give us bread.

Even though I make my own bread, I will never say no to free bread!!! I love it and appreciate the thoughtfulness. 😤😆🩷

Ran out of room in main fridge so I had to place #sourdough in the mini fridge to cold proof and for some reason - it proofed too much! Temp in fridge isn't cold enough or somethin. I had to push sides of the dough underneath the lid w/ a plastic chopstick (good tip btw)

It was pretty good! Not exactly like Sausalito BUT still a treat I'll make in the future. I did challah on one side and brioche on the other (the fam liked the challah more). Easy recipe too! ✨

When it comes to baking it's like you need to make a recipe 3-4 times before it actually works out! If you try making scones again I recommend the Clever Carrots or Little Spoon Farms recipes.

Went to Las Vegas with the fam (as a bday present my parents purchased tickets to see Jimmy O Yang - awesome show!)

We went to China Poblano and probs had the best guacamole and fried rice. Yummm

More lemon blueberry sourdough scones!I make these a lot at home.

I pretty much make two scone patties and then pack blueberries in the middle and then add some to the outside. Mixing blueberries with spatula doesn't work very well for me. 🤷‍♀️

Update on my sourdough cinnamon raisin bread. She turned out alright! ✨

It's very sourdough tasting for this loaf compared to a plain loaf I make which might be due to the warm proofing instead of cold proof??? Not sure - the fam approves of it so yay.

I shoulda just put it in a dutch oven ... But I was too lazy and the shape was already rectangular.

I know I overfilled the pan cause I had to SHOVE the loaf in so the top loaf pan could fit. Ai yai yai 🤦‍♀️

I didn't want to do a cool proofing so it sat on my counter for about 3-4 hours... I think it will be A-OK #sourdough #baking

I'm back! Aaaand I'm playing with recipe measurements and may or may not have either over proofed this cinnamon raisin sourdough loaf or overfilled the load pan. Will update tomorrow what happens. 😁😬
