All of that. Another thing to work on is reading your knitting. If you can look at the previous repeat / row / etc. and tell what you've done or where you are in your pattern based on what you see, you can go forward without worrying (much) about notes or markers.

I'm always happy to see newer knitters discover the joy of knitting lace (instead of just being intimidated).

Yeah. I'm filling prescriptions as quickly as insurance will allow, trying to get ahead of the price increases/coverage decreases that are almost certainly coming with a new policy term.

As someone who relies on the ACA for health insurance, this resonates particularly hard this morning. Holding my breath to see what kind of premium hike/coverage changes my insurance carrier puts in place for 2026.
