Prime Minister Carney launches Build Canada Homes to supercharge homebuilding across the country Today, the Prime Minister, Mark Carney, launched Build Canada Homes – a new federal agency that will build affordable housing at scale.

I applaud the Federal government for choosing Edmonton as a pilot city in the multi-billion-dollar Build Canada Homes initiative.

As Mayor, I will partner with all levels of government to leverage this investment to make housing affordability a top priority, and a reality for Edmontonians.

Thank you Edmonton Chamber of Commerce for hosting the first mayoral debate last night, and to my fellow candidates for a meaningful conversation about Edmonton’s future.

Today, we gathered to honour the bravery and sacrifice of our firefighters.

Firefighters dedicate themselves every day to protecting our lives, communities, and environment.

Thank you to the Edmonton Firefighters Memorial Society for ensuring we never forget those who gave everything in service.

This week, I revealed my evidence-based plan to improve traffic safety programs and make our streets calmer and safer.

This includes creating a dedicated Traffic Safety Team to crack down on unsafe driving and excessively noisy vehicles.

Edmonton is such a great City of positive people.
