Reminds me of "WILD Alaskan Salmon" flavored cat treats. I've never rolled my eyes so hard at a marketing ploy.

I wrote a novelette to complement my #hardboiled #detective series set on a #generationship. Unlike my longer works, the title for this one feels elusive. I've narrowed it to:

On a personal note, the first thing I ever wrote that ran to novella length was a three-part story told from the perspective of one of his sons. Surprisingly, it was not as good as this. 😀

It's funny, heartbreaking and a helluva lot of fun. I highly recommend it!

John Brown has fascinated me since I first heard of him. Somehow, THE GOOD LORD BIRD miniseries slipped past me, though. Ethan Hawke is incredibly believable as Brown, and the whole cast and production is fantastic. The story doesn't pull its punches either.

As if getting actual reviews isn't hard enough...

He's a real hit-and-miss actor for me, but I feel like this will really play to his strengths.

Spiderman + Noir? Yes, please! Nicholas Cage is such an odd actor and it looks like this will really play to his strengths.

Stop bragging. The air is so dry here, the skin on my hands is cracking.

Sometime around 2010, I bought tickets to his show at the last minute. I had been wanting to go, but it was an hour-and-a-half away on a weekday. Turned out to be one of the best performances I've seen!

The more you post, the more I worry I have a multiple personality disorder. My favorite Seal song is "Waiting for You", though. Love that syncopation!

That's a LOT of saloons. Not that I'm complaining. 🤣
