one of the worst eras in film history is that period where every third wide release co-starred shia lebeouf and one of the aging leading men he was being touted as a successor to (harrison ford, michael douglas, robert redford, etc)

In the card's original wording, you sacrifice a creature to put a number of Maggot creature tokens equal to its power into play, but its official rules text now asks you to make Insect tokens. Pathetic.
Unbelievable. I discover this card today only to learn that Maggots have since been errata'd to Insects? Look what they took from us

8) IN GOD WE TRUST: The Mermen only have two albums on YouTube Music and this is one of them. Such a vibe. Probably the most third-eye-open surf rock band to ever do it.
9) LEMMINGS: Streamed the entire thing for the game's 35th anniversary. Truly the GOAT of puzzle games
7) CHLORINE: This was advertised as a mermaid horror novel, but it's more of a coming-of-age story and the mermaid and horror parts are kind of tacked on. It was conceptually interesting and I finished it but I was never really enthralled at any point

Sure enough, someone did

You know how characters in episodic TV get over trauma really quickly and it's really weird? What if that trauma was being in a concentration camp?
Yeah.
There was already some gnarled intertwining between the Ferengi and American Jewishness and this book SUPER-complicates that
4) THE 34TH RULE: I haven't published a Deep Space Spines review in over two months and part of it is because it's been very difficult to unpack my feelings about this book. Another part of it is it was over 450 pages and that's hard to fit in to my busy-busy high school teaching life

necessarily want to encounter in my fiction.
I don't want to outright say "fuck this book" because Saunders is too masterful to be that reductive about, but I also kinda do
self-reflection in his life and rejected them. He could at any point have admitted he was complicit in evil and didn't. And the main character lets him off the hook at the end! I think Jill is stupid in a way that is hard to write believably and exists all over real life but that I don't โฌ๏ธ
01.03.2026 06:36 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Also, I don't think I agree with this book's philosophy. "People are inevitable! At what point could this shitty-ass oil tycoon have been anyone other than who he was?" Ummm at literally any point in his life? Without spoiling too much, it's implied he had a few lucid moments of doubt and โฌ๏ธ
