The latent threat of physical violence (eviction) is only the most obvious. The university should encourage students to engage with academic events, and not close down spaces for discussion, as it did today (yet again)

It's a recipe for right-wing activists how to prevent progressive voices from speaking at University.

1) Accuse the presenter of anything true or not
2) Get in touch with friendly politicians who will exercise pressure.
3) Announce protests

The managerial university will not be able to resist.
