I am honoured to have been appointed Digital and Communications Lead for the Norbert Elias Foundation and to serve as administrator for @norbertelias.bsky.social.

I am looking forward to expanding the Foundation’s activities to the wider academic community.

This special issue honours three esteemed sociologists whose recent passing represents a profound loss for the Figurations community and the wider field.
